On 10 January, LMIFB members had the opportunity to visit the medical centre of "Nucleo" Ltd (www.nucleo.lv), the only place in Latvia where a cyclotron has been installed. It will soon produce radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine diagnostics using PET/CT equipment. During the visit, the members of the Society visited the cyclotron, the radiopharmaceutical production facilities and the PET/CT facility, and also got acquainted with the process of how radiopharmaceuticals are produced and how they are delivered to the patient.
